Updates to Marine Reserve pages of www.marinereserve.co.nz

The Marine Reserve section of our site is currently directing visitors to www.marinenz.org.nz – we simply cannot recreate the mass of information available on this impressive database driven site. Have a quick look at these pages to see how we’re redirecting traffic. Note that this area of the site is not set in stone and will be updated in time to reflect our own project(s).

Be sure to look at the photos on the sub-pages Research and Conservation too! We will be littering the website with these magical marine images (again, thank you MarineNZ) to make it a brighter and friendlier site to visit.

Whangateau Estuary. Mangroves are highly productive and thus important habitat for many fish. They act as a safe haven for many juvenile fish.
